I went into banking after finishing University, having tried to quit banking a couple of times, but to be honest with you, from a professional and personal point of view, I never found anything else that satisfied me more.

Now, the great thing about banking is that it is totally not what other people say it is; it is not what the glossy recruitment brochures say it is; it is not what you see in TV and it is definitely not what your mates who are already in banking say it is. A job in banking is what you want to make out of it; Banks, after all tend to aggregate some of the most entrepreneurial spirits and personalities on earth, and some of the most diverse crowds out there. And it is this that makes it one of the most exciting, dynamic and fun careers available for anybody who wants to go for it.
